I SAVED A LIFE is proud to have sponsored the TDL Football Team(link), Bylakuppe. Bylakuppe is the largest Tibetan refugee settlement in the world outside Tibet. Today, June 5th, the TDL team won the South Cup Tournament after beating the Lugsum team by 1-0. They were GCMGC champions in 2016 🏆⚽️ and in 2015 won the South Cup Tournament 🏆⚽️.

May 27th They should be delivering medicines and medical supplies … I’m waiting for a phone call or a message from the very kind Mykola of the U-Work foundation in Krakow. Finally, in the afternoon, the photos arrive. A pallet of medical supplies is missing and I have to call the Polish courier immediately. Luckily, with some patchy English, I understand that they are already on their way to Warsaw and will deliver the rest today, late afternoon and it is not possible for them to go back!
Sunday May 15th! Everything is prepared: we are 5 volunteers ready to go to Poland and tomorrow we start this beautiful and adventurous journey! We have collected a lot of materials: 2600kg of food, 600kg of medical supplies and 100kg of medicines. We have rented two trucks and studied the route. We will go through Austria and our first stop will be in Brno (Czech Republic).
One of our many responses to their hardships during the pandemic was to provide each family with an entire month’s worth of basic necessities such as rice, lentils, semolina, flour and so forth. With our incredible community of compassionate givers, we have provided food aid to 1,500 families across India.
