2.2 Million Meals in 2022
Across India, we are already underway with our Almsgiving Campaign, distributing healthy food supplies to poor refugee families in Bylakuppe, India and in the adjacent villages of Doddharve, Guddenahalli, Lakshmipura and Handigudda. Our Almsgiving Campaign has already helped 1.500 families across India in 2021. Our current goal of ALMSGIVING is to distribute food to 500 families each month for a whole year.
Join us now in our Almsgiving Campaign to make a direct impact. Join our monthly giving community, and give the gift of food all year round. When compassion is met with action, true impactful change can happen.
Our goal is to directly provide essential needs not only to refugees but to everyone
in the neighboring communities who experience the same harsh inequities.
For €50, you can provide a month’s worth of basic food supplies to one family !
In 2022, 500 families from 5 villages will be supported with food aid over a period of one year. This will allow us to monitor the long-term impact that our support will have on specific localities. We foresee the benefits contributing to more autonomous, thriving and self-sustainable communities.

To avoid inefficient use of funds and financing, we operate with 6 principal steps:
- Direct field survey of real contingent needs
- Creation of either an ad hoc or pre-planned project
- Creation of a virtuous chain between the donor and the beneficiary
- Direct distribution of aid in the field
- Constant monitoring of the benefits brought about by the project
- Surveys and reports on the objectives
We make sure that every Euro donated turns into a realistic and strategic sustenance for the refugees and those in need.
Based on the well-received idea of Universal Basic Income (UBI) by which people living below the poverty line are assisted with basic needs by a financial stipend, ALMSGIVING seeks to echo this but with long-term nutritional, educational and organizational support.
Results of recent social experiments show that such programs create significant mental and physical well-being and stability, boost of self-esteem, economic productivity and self-sufficiency.
ALMSGIVING’s first goal is to relieve families of the daily struggle for basic needs with the ALMSGIVING KIT. This will enable them to use their resources in more beneficial ways: children’s education, paying medical bills and loans or even starting a local family business. This can create a virtuous circle by encouraging the assisted families to become autonomous and self-sustainable.
Secondly, I Saved A Life will create a localized logistics structure in conjunction with regional authorities. This will generate new jobs such as organizing and packaging food, distribution to the selected families and a local administration team.
By monitoring the benefits of the ALMSGIVING KIT, and documenting the progress of a number of families, we aim to achieve long-lasting and tangible results.
OUR PRINCIPAL GOAL IS TO ENABLE A TRANSFORMATIVE PROCESS FOR INDIVIDUAL AND FAMILY WELFARE AND TO PROMOTE ECONOMIC GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT IN AREAS LONG IMMERSED IN POVERTY AND INSECURITY.
OUR GOAL IS TO BE ABLE TO HELP 500 DISADVANTAGED FAMILIES FOR A YEAR
MAKING OUR ANNUAL TARGET FUND €300,000.
We invite you to take part in this meaningful project that will enable refugees and locals to become self-sustainable.
ALMSGIVING CAMPAIGN 2020 / 2021
FEEDBACK FROM THE FAMILIES
People share with us their thoughts on their lives, their families, what kind of problems they face and about their dreams and hopes for the future.
One of our many responses to their hardships during the pandemic was to provide each family with an entire month’s worth of basic necessities such as rice, lentils, semolina, flour and so forth. With our incredible community of compassionate givers, we have provided food aid to 1,500 families across India.
Support provided in 2020 and 2021 across India to both Indian and Tibetan refugee families:
