SUSTAINABILITY

The third of the 4 Pillars underlying our projects is SUSTAINABILITY. But what do we mean by talking about sustainability in our Almsgiving project?
First of all, the project supports local Tibetan and adjacent Indian refugee communities throughout their journey to self-sufficiency. The food from which the disadvantaged communities will benefit will be purchased in the local areas so as to boost their economy.
What is equally close to our hearts is to assist both Tibetan and Indian needy families, so as to facilitate integration and cooperation between the two, creating as peaceful and harmonious an atmosphere as possible.
Everything takes place with respect for the environment, with a view to a project that intends to give a second chance, knowledge and balance to disadvantaged communities, which, thanks to your solidarity, will be able to build a dignified future free from the precariousness that currently afflicts them.
