Ukrainian Refugees

Exactly one year ago, the conflict between Russia and Ukraine escalated and forced millions to flee in search of a safe place to settle with their families while waiting to return home.

Here at I Saved A Life, we’ve been helping refugees through our “Ukrainian Refugees” project, even establishing a partnership with two associations operating in Warsaw and Krakow (read more at: https://isavedalife.charity/project-ukranian-refugees/).

After all this time the conflict continues, and the fear and despondency of that morning of February 24, 2022 remains in the minds of those who still hope to return.
We all hope that peace, not war, will soon be won and that, in the meantime, as many people as possible will continue to help, showing solidarity and compassion.
“World peace must develop from inner peace. Peace is not just mere absence of violence. Peace is, I think, the manifestation of human compassion.” -His Holiness the Dalai Lama
