Today, February 11, is International Day of Women and Girls in Science, and we’d like to take this opportunity to remember the importance that women have had, and still have in scientific, technological, engineering and mathematical (STEM) disciplines.
Despite there being many prejudices and discrimination in these fields, women of all ages continue to succeed and make their valuable contributions to science.
I Saved A Life is proud to stand in solidarity with women to promote education and gender equality through our new project, the “Gomo Tulku Scholarship,” empowering Tibetan youth to pursue their studies, cultivate their passions and interests, and successfully build their careers as leaders for their community.
So today, we would like to extend a special wish for every success to the four female students who are undertaking their Ph.Ds with the help of you, our Family of Compassionate Givers.
