What does it mean to be “self-sufficient”? Generally speaking, it means being able to provide for or support oneself without the help of others.
However, for refugees and marginalized families, this is often unattainable. The daily struggle to have even the basic necessities such as food, shelter and income leads them to adopt unreliable short-term solutions in an endless cycle of deprivation.
Our current Almsgiving campaign aims to support these families through long-term solutions that promote good health, education and sustainable living. We believe that every person deserves the chance to live a productive and fulfilling life free from poverty and desperation. Thank you for your support!
