Masks to Tibetan families

Our first response to the Covid crisis in India was the distribution of 700.000 masks

In May 2021, we started to collaborate with the Central Tibetan Administration. By doing so, we learned which urgent relief issues should be supported for the Tibetan refugee families during the pandemic, as well as locating Indian rural hospitals in the Karnataka region.

Our first response during this particularly dangerous crisis was to distribute more than 700.000 masks to Tibetan families, monasteries and healthcare personnel, as can be seen in the video below.

In agreement with the Central Tibetan Administration, we have decided to help families by donating an immediate monetary aid directly to the families that have been financially affected by the pandemic. 565 Tibetan refugee families have each received INR 10,000.
